Burnt Offerings, 2026

Burnt Offerings explores ritual as a process of release and reconstruction. Ash produced by burning written intentions, journal passages, incense, and natural materials is incorporated into pigmented abaca pulp and arranged within a circle of stones. Through the physical transformation of these materials, the installation considers rupture as a generative space from which agency and a renewed sense of self can emerge.
